A coating can only hold onto the concrete it is bonded to. If the top layer of the slab is weak, sealed or contaminated, the coating leaves with it.

We diamond grind every floor to an open profile, chase and fill cracks, and treat oil-saturated areas before anything is poured.

Acid etching, the shortcut in most weekend kits, leaves residue behind and never opens the slab evenly. That is why those floors peel in sheets.
